The name gives as much justice to the place as the property to your experience. Chef Arvind along with his team gets an exuberant experience on the table, for each hungry soul in this city. With his baked in-house bread and flavored butter, he ensures that the start is set straight through the soul.
If you’re fortunate enough with your palate, you would certainly enjoy the chilled fresh strawberry and mint soup that’s served with strawberry sorbet and carbonated strawberries. With the perfect tinge of mint, the strawberry touches the other end of your tongue, leaving you with that sour (rather blissful) aftertaste that only a very few can enjoy.
But not to be dejected by that, there’s plenty for everyone to go back home happy; starting from the homemade double cooked mozzarella served with tomato jell and some more tomatoes garnished with a black rice wafer that doesn’t just personalize the all-time favourite salad, but also distinguishes it from the regular- thanks to the mozzarella that’s deliciously made inside Chef Arvind’s kitchen. Then there’s falafel, seafood buenolos, potato ragout bruschetta, and the list goes on.
Amuse House is a perfect Mediterranean retreat, for someone who has lost his way in the monotonous rut of pub streets, for that person who wants to celebrate with a close few at a dock that puts them in a circle and for the soul who wishes to own a multi-floor-bi-bar party.
Summing it up, it’s a place for one, and all. What makes it even better, is THE MED BOX; an assortment of Mediterranean sweet delicacies, served in a box- a box of extreme happiness. No, they don’t ask you to chose, they don’t serve one out of the box, they give them all to you- whether you’re an individual or a family of six, you have the right to enjoy your dessert. And this holds true for the choco-lover as well. The chocolate peanut butter, in it’s truest sense, traverses from your stomach to your heart in an instant.
The sly peanut that finds its way through the thick truffle, is experientially the most deserved mention of my wonderful ride down the Mediterranean lane.
