I have never been a fan of HKV, even when they started, when it was less maddening, it somehow never excited me. Apart from Gunpowder ( which shut down, unfortunately), Yeti was the only reason that forced me to go to HKV.
I am glad that they are back. Yeti is, of course, an exception and I loved their food. We all loved their food – Isn’t it? I guess one of the reason why we love the food at Yeti is that it’s simple, no fuss, delicious and most important that they do not load everything with cream butter or cheeseJ. The food at Yeti is based on the Himalayan region.
Hence I was sure that it’s going to be a lot of meats. They do offer some vegetarian delights too from Nepal region which is very unique in flavor and has a lot of similarity from the food that we eat in Bihar (that part which is close to Nepal). The food is still the same, though the interiors look better than last time. There are
There are a lot of dishes which are my favorites here. The momos are the best – PERIOD!. They have a lot of Nepali dishes including aloo sadeko and wai wai sadeko. The dry roast chicken was excellent and so was the mutton( choila I guess). The crunchy spinach with tingmo( bhutani bread ) was absolutely delicious. The crunchiness gave a whole new twist to the dish. Even though we were full but it was impossible to miss the thakeli thali. I must say that this thali is the best in the city that one can offer. I am sure you have been to yeti before.
I am sure you have been to yeti before. This is the place where I can go without thinking twice. After all, it’s in my neighborhood too!!
