Last week before I left for Jaipur Lit Fest, I was invited to House of Soy, speciality pan Asian restaurant at Radisson Blu Faridabad. They will soon celebrate their 1stAnniversary House of Soy has come up with a new promotion to promote dimsums and sushi which is paired with wine.
Dimsums are widely accepted and very popular in India. And of course, it shouldn’t be compared to ‘momos’ that are available on streets!
My last visit to the house of soy was excellent. The food here is fantastic and very much Chinese, unlike other places which have a more Indian influence. I had some good dimsums and sushi. I have developed a strong liking for Sushi and my taste has developed over the years.
We started with dimsums and my pick for non-veg dimsums would be Chicken and Chives, Chicken Shao Mai ( both paired with JG Chardonnay), Schezwan Chicken (paired with Sula’s Chenin Blanc. Fillings were good and it was moist from inside. I relished veg dimsums, however, would prefer non-veg more than anything else. (I am a hardcore non-vegetarian.)
House of Soy is only open for dinner on weekdays and on weekends, they are open for lunch as well as dinner.
The dim sum and sushi festival is on until 31st of January and shouldn’t be missed.
