Winters are good for people who love eating out. This is also the time when we see a lot of festivals that are being held around the city. Well, I am not referring to just weekend festivals, but the ones that are hosted by star hotels. Sharing some of the festivals which I have been part of and I strongly suggest that you should visit them for sure.
The Hyderabadi biryani ( kache gosht ki biryani ) and mirchi ka salan along with chef’s special Raan and tala hua gosht are the highlights of the ongoing hyderabadi food festival at Café. Chef Rakesh who has specially flown from Hyatt Hyderabad along with Corporate Chef at Hyatt Delhi Anil Khurana have recreated the royal food of Hyderabad for Delhi. Bhindi ki shaami was a surprise dish for me which will be loved by vegetarians. You can finish your meal with delicious khubani ka meetha and exceptionally well made double ka meetha.

Bundelhkhandi Food Festival at Masala Art, Taj Diplomatic Enclave
I had earlier never tried Bundelkhandi food. Honestly I had also not thought of trying this cuisine. After eating
at Masala Art yesterday, I realized that we have so much to explore this side of our country. The traditional dahi wada, breads made with different kind of grains, the famous kadaknath and shikar meat – each dish has a unique flavor to give. If you love Indian regional food, then this festival is a must. Festival is on till 27th Nov.

After the first leg of Dine Like Maharaja’s series, the rockstar chef of Dilli 32, Chef Ashwini has come up with the taste of Nizams. As I always say Chef Ashwini is the finest indian chef we have in delhi. With each festival not only he is getting better but we also learn a lot from him. The ongoing hyderabadi food festival is result of his extensive research on the food from Nizam. The entire setup, music, food – everything is just excellent! Seekhampuri and patther ke kebabs were outstanding. His interpretation of Haleem and Ghost biryani was imply superb! His food is always above your expectations and each time he raises his own bar. The array of desserts needs another visit to the hotel. I had one of the best phirnis here. Khajoor ka halwa and khoobani ka meetha should not be missed as well
