I would love to share some of the festivals which are happening around the city and these are worth visiting.
Mahmudabad food festival at Dilli 32
Every time I talk about Dilli 32 or Chef Ashwini Kumar, I feel that I can continue singing praises of his work, anytime and any day. His passion, skills, and determination have always been outstanding. The current ongoing food festival at Dilli 32 – Mahmudabad Food Festival should not be missed. The food, which has been done by the chef, after doing extensive research and several conversations with the locals of Mahmudabad is fantastic. The influence of Awadhi cuisine and from the Far East of Persian cuisine makes the food absolutely delicious. A lot of dishes have its influence from awadh, including the cooking style. Shammi Kebab, Boti Kebab, Murg Mussallam Kebab, Murg Aftabi Kebab and fish fry are some of the dishes as appetizers that stand out. Dabi Arbi ka Salan, Tale Aloo ka Salan, Murg Zafran are star dishes of their main course. Festival is on till 15th of October and can’t be missed.
Amritsar food festival at Indus Express, Taj Dwarka
It is said that the water of Amristar is magical and divine and hence it’s obvious the food too will be divine as well. Indus Express at Vivanta By Taj, Dwarka is hosting Amritsari food festival which is on until 20th of October. The food at Indus Express is inspired from undivided Punjab and also adds the magic of Amritsar. Food is simple, delicious and has the level of spiciness which is very common in amrtisari food. Chef Amarjot who is from Taj Swarna, Amritsar has not compromised on the spice level. To add to the magic, he ensured to get water from Amritsar. Jalandhari Seekh Kebab, Nalli Kharore Shorba, Amritsari Machhi were bang on. Punjabi chole and Dal were outstanding. The breads were excellent.
