Bella Italia, Holiday Inn Aerocity – Simple Italian

Italian cuisine is certainly the most popular international cuisine after Chinese in India. Over the years, we have developed so much of love for Italian that slowly, it is becoming part of our life just like the Chinese cuisine.

Holiday Inn which is more of a transit hotel, has opened an Italian restaurant which is a famous chain in UK. Bella Italia is the only Italian restaurant in Aerocity. A very quirky and young feel it has, interiors are very bold and very youth oriented. Since it’s opening, Aerocity has become the talk of the town. maneesh srivastva, lifestyle blogger and photographer, urbanescapades.in,

If you are in a rush, you should try their quick lunch which is at a quite reasonable price, infact the dishes are slashed by almost 50%. We were there on Saturday afternoon for lunch with my family and the moment I entered I really liked the look and the feel of the restaurant. maneesh srivastva, lifestyle blogger and photographer, urbanescapades.in,

We started with salad and calamari (tender squid deep fried in light batter). I loved the crispiness of the calamari. Misticanza the goat cheese salad with avocado and walnuts with balsamic dressing was tangy and refreshing. Polpette was rather interesting, chicken balls cooked in spicy and tangy tomato sauce was quite tangy and my son loved it.

Tagliatelle is a traditional type of pasta from Emilia-Romagna , region of Italy with Pomodoro sauce and it  was fresh and delicious. I loved my sea bass which was served with new baby potato and roasted onions with fresh basil paste.

I love itlaian and it’s definitely a welcome change from the usual Italian place that we have in city. Do try it when you are in this part of the city.
