Chai, perhaps the most favoured drink across India. People from different regions may have different style of drinking tea but the fact remains the same that we all love tea. Don’t we? I am a tea lover without a doubt and my favourite way of having tea is with milk, sugar and some cinnamon along with ginger and cardamom. This essentially is known as masala tea. Having spent most of my life in Allahabad where the tea session ( chai pe charcha ) is so popular that we even discuss about future of the country. The discussions over tea and sitting around the roadside tapir is so common in these places that you will fall in love with this routine
I still miss those cuppas and the candid conversations. Here, we have some fancy tea café but the soul is missing, and I never really like drinking tea at these place.
Knowing Executive Chef Nikhil and Director F&B Umesh I knew that it’s going to be a fun filled afternoon.
Nothing can beat a well-made home tea along with some snacks. Especially if it’s bhel ( tangy and spicy ), some samosas and my favourite dhokla. If you need more, you can choose from Bun Maske Wala, Jalebi ki Chaat, Roll and Bhajia. To add more, you shouldn’t miss ram ladoo, kachori and jalebi ki chat. The jalebi ki chat was mind blowing.
