It does always feel good to go back to your favourite restaurant. And that is what it is whenever I visit Lodi – Always a fantastic experience.

Mango Fiesta Menu was interesting and we wanted to try most of the dishes.
We started with Aam panna that was the welcome drink. The organic mango did the magic and it was refreshing to the core. Unlike other reviews, I would want this review to be different. The pictures will speak for itself and you will be drawn towards visiting Lodi and enjoy their “Mango Fiesta”.

Let’s start with the soup. Chilled soups are cold, refreshing and a perfect way to beat the heat – and Lodi, perhaps being the only restaurant in Delhi, where you can enjoy chilled soup versions! Our soup had mango puree, sparkling wine and low fat yoghurt – excellent flavour, combination of sweet & sour and perfect in every way.

Next was the salad –spicy green mango, with green chilli, lime and coriander – more like Thai salad. It was crunchy, spicy and flavourful.

Mango and shrimp ceviche failed to impress and over ripped mango made the entire dish gooey.

Interesting titbit – Most of the vegetables used in their kitchen is grown in their own organic farm which makes every dish tastier.

We also tried mango and rosemary margarita;  mango, coconut mojito and mango belini and each of them was wonderful.

Next in line was my favourite pan seared Norwegian salmon with saffron risotto and mango cilantro salsa. It was perfectly grilled fish – tangy and little sweet.

The mango and barley pudding was good in terms of taste and arom. , The mango ice cream was smooth, creamy, and had the right kind of sweetness. The triple layer and chocolate soufflé  had amazing taste –  Absolutely wonderful way to finish our meal..

Overall the Chef has churned out interesting recipes and we felt that as the mango season has just begun, we are yet to get the heavenly taste of perfect ripe mangoes that will add more zest to each dish

The festival that started on 1st of June will run till 30th June.
